IARU Region 1 Interim Conference, Vienna 2007: HF Committee

UK Amateurs are invited to read the following papers for the HF Committee of the forthcoming IARU Region 1 Interim Conference, February 2007.    A Yahoo Group exists for UK Amateurs to discuss IARU Region 1 HF matters.  The URL for the discussion group is http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/ukc4discussion/ and membership is open to all UK Amateurs.

For those less familiar with the way in which HF matters are dealt with in IARU Region 1 it is worthwhile explaining that resolutions are made at the IARU Region 1 Conference, which occurs every three years.  The last one was at Davos in September 2005.  Between conferences HF managers keep in touch with each other and sometimes a few are able to meet informally at international events such as the Friedrickshafen Hamfest.  More formally there is an interim meeting roughly mid-way between the main conferences.  The next interim conference takes place on 24th and 25th February 2007 in Vienna.
